Chandrasekharan’s murder: Autopsy finds multiple wounds


Saturday, May 05, 2012: The post-mortem examination of T.P. Chandrasekharan, RMP leader, who was brutally murdered in Onchiyam yesterday night, has found multiple hack wounds on his face and hands.
The autopsy report pointed out that the fatal blow to his head with a sharp weapon fractured his skull which led to his death. After inspecting the murder spot and examining the wounds on the body, the police said that the gang must have repeatedly hacked him with sharp weapons till he died.
Meanwhile the Special Investigation team has found vital clues about the miscreants behind the gruesome murder case. According to the probe team Chandrasekharan was murdered by a seven-member gang.
The police also took into custody the car in which the assassins apparently fled after the incident. The Innova car bearing the registration number plate KL-58-D-8144 was found abandoned near a small ground. The car owned by KP Naveen Das was taken on rental basis on Friday night, police told.
In a shocking incident in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, Chandrasekharan, who was expelled from the party a few years back, was hacked to death by unidentified assailants.
The incident took place at Vallikkad in Kozhikode district on Friday night. Chandrasekharan, 50, was riding a bike when he was attacked by the assailants.
The assailants first hurled country-made bombs at him and then hacked him when he fell off the motorcycle.
