Controversial speech: HM warns action against MM Mani

Wednesday, May 30, 2012: Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has warned action against M M Mani, CPM Idukki district committee secretary for his controversial remarks that there had been several instances of the party eliminating its foes.
“The statement made by Mani that CPM would kill its political opponents, should be taken as a serious one. Also an investigation will be carried out into all the murders mentioned by him. We will examine whether there was any political conspiracy behind it.
At a public meeting organised by the party at Thodupuzha on Friday last, Mani had said the party had prepared a list of “three targets” to be eliminated and it was carried out.
