It was Sukumaran Nair who demanded to make Ganesh Kumar a minister: Balakrishna Pillai

NEYYATTINKARA: R. Balakrishna Pillai, chairman of Kerala Congress (B), said on Sunday that it was NSS General Secretary G. Sukumaran Nair who demanded to make Ganesh Kumar minister. Pillai said he was also a part of NSS.

Pillai said that in his son-cum-Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar’s opinion, he was made minister by Oommen Chandy. But, Ganesh was made minister after Sukumaran Nair wrote to Chief Minister, said Pillai.

Earlier, Sukumaran Nair criticized Ganesh Kumar by saying that instead of blaming NSS he should blame his own father R. Balakrishna Pillai. Nair also said Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala who were unable to solve the problems between Pillai and Ganesh should resign.
