KSEB decides to withdraw unscheduled load shedding

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Wednesday decided to withdraw the unscheduled half-an-hour power cut in the State.

Talking to newspersons here, State Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed said the decision to withdraw the power cut would be a great relief for the people who were facing scorching heat in the state. The government's decision was following appeal from the public that the current situation should change as it was affecting industry badly, he added.

However, he denied the allegation by Opposition that the government's decision was to influence the voters in the Neyyatinkara Assembly.
