Probe into T.P murder case satisfactory, says CPI

Tuesday, May 08, 2012: Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary Pannian Ravindran said here on Tuesday that the ongoing investigation into the sensational T.P Chandrasekharan murder case was satisfactory.
Addressing the presspersons here on today, Pannian termed the brutal incident as a “political murder”. Ravindran called for an independent investigation in the case so as to ensure that the culprits were given exemplary punishment.
The police team must conduct a thorough investigation into the particulars provided by the Chandrasekharan’s wife. The party did not believe that politics meant violence, he added.
