Vivek replaces Jagathy in ‘Cowboy’

Noted Tamil comedian Vivek, who hasn’t been doing too many movies off late, has got a plump offer in a Malayalam movie. He is slated to replace Mollywood star Jagathy Sreekumar in a Malayalam film titled Cowboy.
Jagathy Sreekumar’s recent accident had the directors of his films looking for replacements, who could match the veteran’s acting skills.
Cowboy’s director P Balachandra Kumar said, “Vivek was the best person who could fit into Jagathy’s role as the flick has quite a lot of comedy scenes and we needed someone who could match the veteran’s comic timing.”
Vivek, who has a deep concern about social causes, has been busy involved in many social service activities, including planting trees as part of the Green Kalam project.
