THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 19-year-old youth was stabbed to death on Friday night over a dispute related to repayment of Rs 100. The deceased has been identified as Sahir Sha, son of Shahabudheen of Suhra Manzil, Thirumala. He was stabbed to death allegedly by Madhu alias Basheer, 44, of Villacottage Settlement Colony, Nemom.
The incident occurred at Karumam Settlement Colony near Nemom followed by an altercation between the two over the repayment of money. According to the police, Sahir Sha had borrowed Rs 100 from Madhu. Madhu asked for the money when he met Sahir Sha at Karumam. As Sha refused to give the money, Madhu attacked him with a knife and fled the scene.
Though Sha was admitted to a nearby private hospital, his life could not be saved.
